– Drops New Single “More Life”
Nigerian singer, Igere Joshua Glory, popularly known as Citiboi!, has announced that he will be working with a couple of big artists this year like Bella Shmurda, Timaya, Asake, and lots of the artists
The singer has been making a huge impact in the south with his music and also with his new release “More Life”
He said the single titled ‘More Life’ was released to celebrate his achievement.
” Everyone who has followed my journey knows why I title this song More Life and why it is important to me. In today’s world, being yourself is a big problem. So if being yourself means much, then it’s worth celebrating.
More Life is personal to me and my loved ones, it’s about celebration and wishes for More Life, After many accomplishments.”
Citiboi! was born in 1997 to Nigerian parents of southern extraction. He hails from Bayelsa State.
The artiste who came from a polygamous family (14 siblings from his dad, 6 siblings from his mum) is the last son of both parents.
He attended State School 1, Okodi, Ogbia for his primary school education. He had his secondary school education at Pacesetter’s College, Wuye, Abuja. He also attended the Niger Delta University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies in 2019.
He came from a middle-class background and was raised in the Christian faith.
Citiboi! developed a passion for music as a youngster. This interest was cultivated by listening to Afrobeats sounds by leading Nigerian artists like 2baba, P-Square, D’banj, Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide, among others.
He began doing music officially in 2017 on a couple of features, He dropped his first official single “Real Life” on May 16, 2020, and his first EP ‘State Of Mind’ later that year.
He won the Rookie of the Year at the Galaxy Music Award 2020.
Citiboi! Also plans to drop another single titled “Citiboi!” which is part of his album in no distance time as he has promised to be more consistent in doing better music this year.
