Just In: Skitmaker De General convicted of dr#g traff!cking .

Skitmaker Joshua Sunday, popularly known as De General, has been convicted of dr#g traff!cking by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

Sunday who was arrested at his home in Lekki on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 was arraigned by the National Dr#g Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) alongside Caleb William, a cinematographer.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Justice Daniel Osiagor held that the volume of substance was minimal and would convict and caution the defendants, rather than a sentence.

The Judge subsequently convicted Sunday and William and warned them to “go and sin no more”.

The duo, who were charged with three counts of traff!cking Tramadol and Cannabis Sativa, pleaded guilty. They told the court they never tasted dr#gs and that the substances were props for a skit they were about to shoot before their arrest.
