A Los Angeles judge on Monday, October 18, approved a petition by American rapper, Kanye West, to officially change his name to be known simply as “Ye,” with no middle or last name.
Michelle Williams, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge gave her nod to the request by the singer, who filed his petition on August 24 and stated he was making the change for personal reasons, according to multiple news sites.

Recall that the 44-year-old rapper released an eighth studio album titled “Ye” in June 2018.
