Tinubu Grants Automatic Employment to Late FCT Head of Service’s Children

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of Dr. Grace Adayilo, the late Head of Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), who passed away recently.

The announcement was made on Saturday by FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, during Adayilo’s funeral service at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja. The event was attended by top government officials, civil servants, relatives, and friends who gathered to honour her memory.

Describing her d+ath as a “p@inful loss,” Wike praised Adayilo as a humble, diligent, and dedicated public servant whose contributions to the FCT Administration (FCTA) would be long remembered.

“On behalf of the FCT Administration and Mr. President, I extend our deepest condolences to her family. The President has directed that her four children be offered automatic employment, recognizing the family’s loss of its breadwinner,” Wike announced.

He further commended Adayilo for her outstanding service, including ensuring prompt payment of workers’ salaries and entitlements, and her role as a respected mobilizer within her community.

Wike urged Nigerians to emulate her values of hard work and devotion, stressing that life’s uncertainties make it essential to serve both God and humanity faithfully.

Colleagues and loved ones remembered Dr. Adayilo as a selfless leader and motherly figure who left behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and service to others.
