Food Prices Are Dropping Due to Tinubu’s Strategic Policies — Min. Mohammed Idris

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, has said that food prices in Nigeria are gradually dropping as a result of President Bola Tinubu’s strategic policies.

Speaking in Minna at the launch of commercial flights from the Minna International Airport, the minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to food security and improving the lives of Nigerians.

He stated, “The prices of foodstuffs are dropping gradually in the country following the strategic measures put in place by the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Though he did not specify the policies responsible for the recent decline in food prices, Malagi emphasized that the Tinubu administration remains focused on creating a better future for citizens.

He also praised the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, for significant strides in the aviation sector.

In a related development, Minister Keyamo revealed that the federal government plans to use the Minna International Airport as a backup to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

He said key security and immigration agencies—such as Customs, Immigration, Police, and NDLEA—will be stationed there to ensure smooth operations in the event of disruptions at the Abuja airport.
