Armed att@ckers have reportedly invaded the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in Obeiba-Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
According to counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, who shared the development via his X handle on Thursday, the assault took place around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The attackers, said to be at least three in number, were armed with cutlasses and g¥ns and v@ndalized parts of the property, including breaking window panes.
The Senator’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, was said to have alerted security authorities following the incident.
A rapid response team from the Okehi Police Division arrived shortly after, but no casualties or arrests were recorded. Police say investigations are ongoing, with the motive for the attack still unclear.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has yet to comment publicly on the incident.
