Akwa Ibom Women Protest Against Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Over Her Allegations Against Akpabio, Vow to release spiritual c+ne
Women in Akwa Ibom took to the streets on Saturday, protesting against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over her allegations of s+x¥al hara§§ment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The protesters accused Akpoti-Uduaghan of attempting to tarnish Akpabio’s image, declaring that they would not allow a fellow woman to bring down their “son,” who is now Nigeria’s third-highest-ranking citizen.
Marching through Uyo Plaza, the women displayed placards with messages such as “Number 3 man deserves respect, Natasha shows some,” and “Respect for husbands is our tradition, Natasha.” They demanded a public apology from her, warning of consequences if she failed to retract her claims.
Addressing the protesters, Grace Mathias from Essien Udim Local Government Area stated that Akwa Ibom women would not tolerate any “disrespectful behavior” toward their elders.
“If Natasha continues, we will pray to God to release a ‘spiritual c+ne’ to put her in order,” she declared.
“We want Natasha to leave our son alone. Whenever she tries it again, the women will kneel and pray, and heaven will rise against her. She should stop messing up our son, who is well-trained in the ways of the Lord.
Our son doesn’t disrespect women; stop hara§§ing our son and disrespecting him; he is so precious to us.
We, the women of Akwa Ibom, are saying that this should be the first and last time you will be addressing our son in such a disrespectful manner.
We are out here today to tell you, Natasha, that our son is so precious to us. In this area, we respect our men; we don’t disrespect them. Enough is enough.
If we hear about this again, we will go down on our knees to pray against you, and God Almighty will release the c+ne, and that c+ne will fl@g you.
No peace for the w+cked, and for plotting ev#l against our son, ev#l will return to you because you want to bring a bad name to our son. Your plan will not work in the life of our son,” she said.
