Delta Plane cr@shes and overturns in Toronto, Canada — All passengers survive
A Delta flight crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, leaving the aircraft overturned on the snow-covered ground.
Emergency officials confirmed that 18 passengers were hospitalized, while 12 others sustained mild injuries. Despite the severity of the cr@sh, all 76 passengers and 4 crew members on board Flight 4819 were safely evacuated.
Toronto Pearson CEO Deborah Flint praised the swift response of emergency teams, crediting them for preventing any loss of life. Among the passengers were 22 Canadians, according to airport officials.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Delta have confirmed the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
