Kanye West and Bianca Censori Reportedly Splitting After Grammys Controversy
Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly ending their marriage just 11 days after her controversial appearance at the Grammys.
Sources say they have verbally agreed on a $5 million settlement following their brief union, which began in December 2022.
A source close to West confirmed the breakup, stating that legal proceedings will follow soon. Censori remains at their $35 million home in Beverly Park North, Los Angeles, while West’s current location is uncertain, though he may return to Tokyo, where he spent much of last year.
At the Grammys on February 2, Censori appeared uncomfortable when West allegedly instructed her to drop her fur coat on the red carpet. Friends of the rapper claim the stunt was his artistic vision and a tribute to his upcoming album Vultures 2. Defending her appearance, West wrote on X the next day, praising Censori’s bravery and beauty, calling her “smart, talented, and hot.”
Following the Grammys, West sparked outrage with an anti-S+mitic rant, declaring himself a Nazi and expressing admiration for Hitler.
He attempted to sell a $20 t-shirt featuring a swastika, which Shopify banned within 24 hours. X also suspended his account, though he later returned, calling his comments a “social experiment.” His actions led to backlash from Hollywood, including actress Isla Fisher and Friends star David Schwimmer.
In a recent interview, West claimed he was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder, stating instead that he is autistic and believes he was a former Emperor of Japan—something Censori also allegedly believed.
West was previously married to Kim Kardashian for six years, with whom he shares four children. He met Censori in 2021 when he hired her as an architectural designer at Yeezy. In 2022, he released Censori Overload, hinting at their relationship and his vow of celibacy before marriage.
With the marriage seemingly over, the future remains uncertain for both West and Censori.
