Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez are set to marry next Saturday in a lavish $600 million wedding in Aspen, Colorado, according to a new report.
The couple, who got engaged in May 2023, will celebrate their nuptials in a winter wonderland-themed ceremony, with festive decor, twinkling lights, and a holiday charm.
Before the big day, the pair will host a pre-wedding celebration at Matsuhisa, an upscale sushi restaurant, which they reportedly rented out for Thursday and Friday, the Daily Mail reported.
The star-studded event is expected to be a major affair, following their engagement celebration in Positano, Italy, which saw A-list guests including Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Queen Rania of Jordan. Despite the buzz, Bezos, 60, and Sanchez, 54, have kept their wedding plans largely private and have not officially confirmed the wedding date.
The couple, who began dating in 2018, went public with their relationship in 2019 after Bezos’ divorce from his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott. Rumors of an engagement surfaced as early as December 2019 when Sanchez was seen wearing a heart-shaped ring.
Sanchez, a former broadcast journalist, was previously married to Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares two children. Bezos, who has three children with Scott, proposed last year aboard his mega-yacht with a $2.5 million cushion-cut pink diamond.
As Bezos prepares for his wedding, Amazon workers are holding a nationwide strike, now in its third day, across multiple states to protest against the retail giant.
