A doctor has shared an intriguing method some HR personnel employ to give jobs to their family and friends instead of qualified candidates.
He said people in the HR of a company would send electronic offers of employment for one or two out of the applicants selected by management to fake emails they created in the name of the applicants. They would thereafter reply from the email to their company, rejecting the offer. They use this as an official cover to give the job to friends and family whom the management did not select. If you did not get feedback on some applications you’ve made in the past, it’s probably because somebody in HR has rejected the job on your behalf.
They were discovered when they unknowingly did it to their CEO’s candidate. The CEO didn’t know too until the affected applicant had the chance to meet him after many months. When the CEO inquired about the applicant from HR after the applicant had told him he didn’t receive any communication, HR team told him that the candidate had rejected the offer.
