President Bola Tinubu has expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, assuring citizens that better days lie ahead despite the nation’s ongoing economic and security challenges.
The president, represented by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, conveyed this message during the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17.
Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties facing the country, including rising inflation, unemployment, and persistent security concerns. However, he reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring national stability and implementing critical economic reforms to address these issues.
“Things are happening in our country today. People may not agree with us on certain decisions, but fundamentally, things are changing, and Nigeria will change for the better,” he said.
While describing the current economic climate as tough, he reassured Nigerians of brighter prospects ahead. “The economy is undergoing significant changes. Yes, the challenges are enormous and difficult, but I assure you, better days are ahead of us,” Tinubu stated.
He also issued a strong warning to those engaged in criminal activities, emphasizing that such individuals, whether within or outside Nigeria, would be held accountable. “If you are involved in wrongdoing, whether you are inside Nigeria or abroad, we will come after you and bring you to justice,” he declared.
