TM Kazeem has urged Wike to probe the alleged appointment of veterinarian as Health Permanent Secretary.
Kazeem Tanimu, popularly known as TM Kazeem, a top fashion executive and publicist for the late Group Managing Director of Access Holdings, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, has joined the call for a thorough investigation into the appointed of Adam Babagana, a veterinarian as Permanent Secretary of the FCTA Health Secretariat.
Public reactions have continued to grow following reports alleging that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike appointed Adam Babagana as Permanent Secretary of the FCTA Health Secretariat.
The controversy began when an online newspaper published allegations about Babagana’s appointment, sparking widespread backlash, particularly among FCT residents.
Social media platforms have also been abuzz, with influencers urging Minister Wike to address the claims and prioritize accountability in the health sector.
TM Kazeem, a youth mobilizer and advocate for good governance across Africa, voiced his concerns, emphasizing the need for clarity.
“Issues of human health should not be mixed with politics,” Kazeem said. “The FCT minister must look into this matter and not remain silent. Let them tell us if the issues raised are true or not with clear evidence. The man in question should also make his clear evidence. The man in question should also make his academic qualifications public to clear any doubts and save us from this embarrassment. Other countries are already mocking us.”
As the public awaits a response from the FCT Minister and relevant authorities, many are calling for transparency and accountability to restore confidence in the
management of the health sector within the territory.
