The devil doesn’t just want you financially poor, he wants your very soul. He wants to finish you with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, depravity, and so much more. He relishes the defeat people experience when they realize that their money cannot save them.
Money cannot stop the oppression of dark forces. Money cannot bring healing to every disease. Money cannot satisfy the soul. Money cannot save you from sin. Money cannot make you righteous before God’s inevitable judgment (whether you acknowledge Him or not).
Money will never truly uplift your soul, only Jesus can. There’s a plethora of cases of rich people who k led themselves. Their mansions simply gave them more room to suffer in the despair of an empty and downcast soul. Their cars couldn’t drive them away from their internal struggle.
