Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has explained why he referenced NAFDAC in his press statement.
He said the video showing individuals hara§§ing pure water sellers was brought to his attention. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that these individuals were not affiliated with any Lagos State government agency. Based on initial information, it was believed they might be linked to @NafdacAgency •
That said, their press statement did not accuse NAFDAC of any wrongdoing. In fact, they specifically commended their efforts in safeguarding public health and safety. Any suggestion otherwise misrepresents the intent of the statement.
