A lady has lamented over her boyfriend who relocated to Canada three years ago and hasn’t returned to Nigeria to marry her.
She said he travelled 7 months into their relationship, they were both happy and promised to wait for one another. She shouldn’t have made that promise to wait for him. Every year, he kept saying he’ll come in December to marry her and when it’s time he comes with one excuse or the other.
Now, another December is approaching, what is he trying to say again? Although she has a good relationship with his parents and family members, this cannot replace him as she is missing him a lot.
She is currently in her mid 20s and almost all her friends her married, she didn’t know if she should break the promise and be seen as a betrayal as he wanted her to wait till 2026. Maybe she should return the promise ring to his parents?
