The Northampton Crown Court has found two men guilty of multiple counts of a§§aulting a 17-year-old girl in the United Kingdom.
The suspects, Tosin Dada, 34, and Solomon Ibukun Adebiyi, were charged with three counts each in connection with an offence committed on March 12, 2022.
Their defence, claiming that the encounter had been consensual, was rejected after a 9-day trial.
The jury deliberated for eight hours before returning unanimous guilty verdicts on all charges.
In a statement released on Monday via its official Facebook page, Northamptonshire Police confirmed the conviction and revealed that the two men had been remanded into custody. Sentencing is scheduled for October 25, 2024.
