A U.S.-based Nigerian man has shared photos of sleeping ‘box’ where many who recently relocated pay to sleep for 8 hours in New York.
He said New York, USA is very expensive to lodge in. He learnt his lesson many years ago when he slept in what looked like a pod-like box with no extractor fan inside. He paid $80 to sleep for 8 hours.
He had to hang out in town till 11pm so he can sleep in till 7am. You go in with an alarm that buzzes loud when your time is up. As you are leaving, you take out the bedsheet and another person comes in to sleep.
