Lagos Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, has reacted to Actress Laide Bakare’s recent rants.
He said she was stopped for contravening traffic laws by driving on the BRT lane. She chose to create a scene. She has rightly paid the correct fine for her offence – N70,000 – into government coffers and not a finger was laid on her.
He added that she chose to remain out of her vehicle when it was being taken to LAMATA office. The
officers were not going to succumb to your gimmick to hold them down at that spot.
