A businesswoman has accused the Nigerian police of releasing an armed r%bber who was arrested for r%bbing her and leaving her with a huge inj¥ry on her hand.
The woman, identified as Florida, said she was att@cked by the r%bber on her way from church.
Sharing graphic videos of her inj¥ry on X, she said: “On Friday 17th May 2024 at around 7:40 pm on my way home from church, close to the roundabout I usually get a keke home, I was att@cked by a thi£f who took my phones and in attempt to st@b me c¥t my hand with a d@gger.
A Good Samaritan ran after him and caught him. He was able to retrieve one of my phone but the other we couldn’t find it when I noticed the c¥t on my hand, I just had to call for help to get me to the hospital/pharmacy. The lady who was with me from church helped me.
I was later informed that the guy was b£@ten and handed over to the patrol police but set free by the police because they didn’t want to pay for his treatment, with the excuse that I wasn’t present to claim the case.
The guys directed me to the police station but the case wasn’t even documented, they told me to go to the hospital but he wasn’t there as well.
In all I thank God it wasn’t worse than this and I’m alive.”
