Four ‘one chance’ operators arrested for allegedly withdrawing N1.4 million from their victim’s account in Lagos

Police detectives from Ilasan Division in Lagos, have arrested four suspects alleged to be a gang of ‘one chance robbers’.

Spokesman for the Lagos Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in a post via his X handle on Wednesday, along with a group picture of the suspects.

Hundeyin stated that the robbers were apprehended following discreet investigation into a complaint by a victim that the suspects withdrew N1.4million from her account during a one-chance robbery at Ijora-Badia in the Ilasan area of the state.

The police revealed the identities of the suspects to include one Habeeb Azeez, 29; Micheal Adeyeye, 26; Biodun Iyiola, 46 and Adeleye Dotun aged 27.

He added that the idea was also to help other victims identify the culprits and come forward to lay claims as the case may be.
