The founder who doubles as OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman, and his longtime partner, Oliver Mulherin, has tied the knot in a seaside ceremony.
The 38-year-old tech influencer and Mulherin, an Australian software engineer, exchanged vows surrounded by palm trees and a small group of guests at an undisclosed tropical beach location, as seen from photos circulating on social media.
Altman confirmed the news in a text to NBC News after photos of the wedding began circulating on social media Thursday, January 11.
Last year, Altman and Mulherin attended a state dinner at the White House that President Joe Biden hosted for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
New York Times had earlier reported that Altman and Oliver Mulherin share a house on Russian Hill in the heart of San Francisco. But as Friday arrives, they move to a ranch in Napa, California. Mulherin, Altman’s spouse, shares his time between San Francisco and a ranch in Napa, California.
