Media personality Oluchi has reacted after an African-American labeled those fleeing their country to abroad as cow@rds.
She said stumbled on a recorded Clubhouse room discussing Nigerians in America and how they undermine black Americans. One of the speakers angrily asked why Nigerians can’t fix their country but rush to countries that are doing well so they can make money and send back home to the same country they are running away from.
It was a long argument but the hosts were angry that Nigerians and other Africans are taking wealth away from their country to go build houses in theirs but won’t live there to fix the country so that other visitors can find it suitable to visit, live or work in.
Her conclusion is that, it will never make sense to anyone when told why Nigeria is in this shape today and people are fleeing in droves instead of fixing it. They will always see us as wards.
