Nigerians hĩt the streets in celebration as Min. Of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, rolls out tricycles and sewing machines to empower women in the country.
In practical fulfilment of my earlier resolve to reduce the rate of unemployment and also to ensure sustainable empowerment of women is the Introduction of the Pink Riders Transport Scheme and upgrade of our sewing factory.
Today, I received the first batch of branded Tricycles and industrial sewing machines.The pilot scheme of these machines especially the Pink Riders will start from Abuja before we extend to other states.
This is an era of walking our talks because Nigeria must succeed.
