Rivers State House of Assembly begins impeachment process against Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State House of Assembly has commerced the process of impeaching the state governor, Siminialayi Fubara.

According to reports, 24 out of the 32 members of the state house of assembly signed the impeachment notice against the governor.

This occurred at an emergency sitting on Monday morning, October 30, just after security operatives reportedly att@cked the governor on his way to the government house.
