Lagos police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, has told a man who was told to ‘pay for logistics’ at a police station where he lodged a complaint that he failed to play his part as a citizen.
He said f#ghting corruption is everyone’s responsibility and no one should be left behind and if he had taken the bull by the horn, he would have gotten the right service. However the man asked him to swear if he was not aware of the incidence that happened to him.
But, he replied that although he is aware of the corr¥ption in the system, he does not know where the incident happened, the police station and the officers involved. The man further said he can’t give him the details because he wouldn’t be available to protect him against the consequences of such action.
