A bolt driver has been applauded on social media for trailing some police officers who arrested his passengers in the early hours of today October 17. The bolt driver said he picked up his passengers, two young men, from Landmark beach and was taking them to Lekki phase 1 when they were accosted by police officers. He said the officers searched them and after they found no incriminating item on them, the officers asked for the identification cards of both men. After they failed to provide any, the officers asked them to get into the unbranded Sienna vehicle they were riding in.
He followed the officers in his bid to ascertain where the young men were taken to. He landed at the Nigeria Police Zone 2 command Onikan. A Twitter user who shared the video claimed the officers extorted the young men of N25, 000.
