Child Custody Saga: Abuja Court restrains OAP Dotun from posting def@matory posts against singer D’banj

A Chief District Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, has restrained OAP Dotun from posting def@matory posts against singer D’banj on social media or any other platform.

DailyTrust reports that Judge Emmanuel Iyanna gave the injunction on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the case with Motion No: MN/218/2023.

According to the report, D’banj through one of his lawyers, Toheeb Lawal, had filed an application at the court for an injunction restraining Dotun from making malicious and def@matory posts against him on social media.

Granting the application Iyanna said: “An order restraining the defendant (Dotun) either by himself, servants, privies, cohorts, representatives or any person deriving authority from him from further making any malicious, intimid@ting or defam@tory post directing at the complainant (D’banj) on any social media platform (X, Instagram, etc) or news media pending the hearing and determination of the substantive case”.

Also, the court ordered the Deputy Inspector of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau to investigate a crim+nal complaint brought by D’banj against Dotun within two weeks and report back to court.
