The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has urged Nigerians to support the “oppre§§ed” Palestinians against Israel’s br¥tal att#ck on the civilians especially women and children over the years.
Members of the movement also protested on Friday against the ongoing att#ck on
females and children in Gaza amid the raging conflict between Israel and Palestine militant Hamas.
The protest, according to Daily Trust, kicked off from the popular Annur Mosque in Wuse 2 along IBB way immediately after the Juma’at Prayer, terminated at the traffic light at Ahmadu Bello way with b¥rning of the American and Israeli’s flags.
It would be recalled that it was reported earlier in the week that the Shiites held their first protest where they b¥rnt Israeli flags and decried ongoing bombardments. However, in a statement, Sheikh Sidi Munir Sokoto, a member of the movement, said they were protesting to c#ndemn the k#llingof Palestinians in Gaza by the soldiers of the illegal state of Israel.
According to the statement, reliable reports confirmed that hundreds of Palestinians were k#lled and thousands were wo¥nded. “In February, 2019 the United Nations Commission of Inquiry (COI) published a damning indictment against the illegal state of Israel.
According to the COI, Israel soldiers have been deliberately sh%oting civilians, k#lling and m#ining unarmed people including children as well as journalists and medics in Gaza.Israel is in breach of International law and the Palestinians are f#ghting to liberate their homeland from 75 years of Israeli oppre§§ion and t#rrorism.
The Israel military and settlers are the trrorists as they have been k#lling and abd¥ting Palestinian females and Children for many years, not the Palestinian freedom fighters who are demanding the
right to return for those unjustly driven out of their homeland by the illegal state of Israel. Armed struggle is legitimate under international law.
Gaza has been under the Israel siege since June 2007, which caused a decline in living standards.” It added, “Supporting the oppre§§ed people is human, as such, supporting the People of Palestineis a duty upon all humans. Israeli soldiers should stop launching Missiles and Rockets against innocent female and children in villages; they should face the Hamas f#ghters who are +#ghting to defend People. Islam taught us that human beings are either our brothers in religion or inhumanity
