Subsidy palliatives were given to each state to be shared by the residents in order to lessen the hardship in the country as a result of the subsidy removal that has affected the whole country.
Residents of Kogi state were observed gathering in big groups to get their share of the subsidy package. They appeared to have formed a line and were packaged a five bowls of rice and one thousand naira were distributed to each person in the vicinity.
