If police officers insist that you follow them to the station after nothing incriminating was found on you during stop-and-search, follow them — NPF spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi

NPF spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi has said if police officers insist that you follow them to the station after nothing incriminating was found on you during stop-and-search, follow them.
He said when nothing incrimin@ting found, they should allow you to go. However, if they insist you go with them to the station, go with them, but request to meet the DPO. When they take you in, there
must be a senior office on the ground, approach him. If they insist you don’t see him, move to the DPOs office or charge room, which is always close to the DOs office. Someone must attend to you.
We need to be far ahead of the du bious and corrupt ones.
