Influencer Brian has said once you marry as a man, your wife becomes more important than your mother.
A prospective wife is worried that her mother in law (a good woman) is going to be living with she and her husband immediately they get married.
I strongly believe that a newly wedded couple should live alone so they can experience each other fully and adjust to themselves. It is the wrongest time for anyone to live with them. They need enough time to learn to live with each other and enjoy each other’s company.
The Bible that some of you read clearly states that it is for this reason a man will LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER and cling unto his wife. You should not marry if you are not ready to leave your parents for your wife.
Facebook for non sentient beings say there’s no problem, as long as the woman is a good woman. Some have even said “Mama wey S¥ffer for me” others have said the wife is entitled. Most of them dropping these comments are not married and I understand the need to sound ign@rant.
One thing you will learn as an adult male in life is that your mother is important but when you marry, your wife becomes more important. It doesn’t mean that your mother is no longer loved or important, it just means that you are now a man. If you don’t believe that your wife is more important then you
should probably not marry, you should just take care of your mother.
Anyway, whenever topics like this come up, I see it as an opportunity for women to be critical about the kind of men
