Ex-military spokesperson General Onyeuko di£s after a brief illness

A former Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Bernard Onyeuko, is reportedly d£ad.

Onyeuko, who was one of the Generals asked to resign recently following the appointment of new service chiefs by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was said to have di£d on Saturday morning, August 26, after he suddenly took ill.

PRNigeria reports that the Onyeuko complained of cold on Saturday morning and was was taken to a private hospital in Abuja where he passed on.

According to the report, a friend of the late General confirmed that he was hale and hearty on Friday, but fell ill on Saturday morning. He di£d few hours later.
