An interview with the Somalian runner who competed in a 100-meter race but finished in a skip across the finish line after falling so far behind the field has surfaced online.
The athlete said in the interview that she is thrilled to compete for her nation and that she hopes to take first place in the 10m race. According to the interview she conducted, it was evident that she believed she was entering a 10m race, which is what caused her poor performance in the competition.
