As a result of the road being submerged by water, commuters along the Beni-Ore road are stranded. People who were traveling on the road have been spotted stranded because they were unable to continue due to their fear that if they did, the water would fall onto their buses with its powerful flow.
However, there has been a river surge that is flowing beneath the road bridge but has overtaken the road, stopping all commuter traffic.
