A female employee of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, has received praises from all and sundry for recovering lost $70,000 to a patron in Lagos.
The incident occurred when the guest, who pleaded anonymity, left behind a bag containing the substantial sum in one of the hotel’s suites.
It is reported that Mary, upon discovery of the bag containing the huge sum of money, reported the incident to the hotel management. The General Manager of the hotel immediately started the process of returning the money to its rightful owner in accordance with the establishment’s principle of integrity and transparency. The guest was contacted and the money was returned in full, much to their relief and gratitude.
However, in a related development, former Governor of Anambra State, called for a national celebration of Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary for her gesture.
