“I’ll show you that army isn’t police,” Nigerian soldier says, as he thr£at£ns traders, forc£s man to cr@wl in a canal in Ekiti

A yet-to-be identified military officer reportedly hired to collect rent from some traders has been captured on camera deh¥m@nizing a resident in Ekiti State.

It was gathered that the incident happened at Fayose Market in the state around 10 in the morning on Thursday, June 22. A source reports, “The businesswoman in a red head-tie in the video had brought the soldier to the marker to collect rent. The soldier went further to thr£at£n traders by promising to st@b them with a kn#fe if they created an opposition or intervened in the matter.

A man fell victim to the soldier’s hara§§ment as he was asked to crawl in a dirty canal because he said, ‘Oga soja enisuru’ which means ‘soldier, please calm down.’

Traders who witnessed the spine-chilling incident decided to lodge a complaint at the Ado central police station in Oke sha, Ado Ekiti, and urged the appropriate authorities to take action to serve as deterrent for others.”

However, as at the time of filing this report, the suspects – the businesswoman and soldier, were arrested and are currently celebrating ‘Thank God It’s Friday’ in police detention.
