Nationwide jubilation as Gov. Sanwo-Olu gifts a student of Lagos state university a whopping N10m for graduating with a 5.0 CGPA

As a reward for graduating from the Lagos State University (LASU) with a CGPA of 5.0, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has announced a personal donation of N5 million and a second N5 million from the State Government to Ms. Aminat Yusuf Imoitsemeh.

Imoitsemeh broke the school’s 40-year record when she received a CGPA of 5.0 and graduated first in her class. During the convocation ceremony, she received a prize worth N500 000 from the institution’s vice chancellor.

Additionally, earlier in the week, Oba Adeshina Raji Ashade, the Oniba of Iba, gave her N2 million.
