He related how, while enjoying a drink in a bar, a waiter approached him to inform him that a man seated at a table across the room wanted to see him. He then told the waiter to inform the man to come meet him if he wanted to see him rather than inviting him to do so. The waiter left to deliver his message after that.
The man then approached him, introduced himself, and belched as he did so, letting him know he was int%xicated. After a few words, he asks for his number, which he promptly and naively provides. The man declined his invitation to join him at his table, where there were also three other guys, by explaining that he was there to clear his thoughts. Then, the man went back to his table.
He claimed that while he was leaving, he inquired about the cost of his drink and was told by the same man that it had been paid, at which point he walked to their table to express his gratitude. After asking him if he was leaving, he replied, “No,” went back to his table and got a drink. A little while later, he snuck out, hurried to his car, and took off.
