Speaking to his audience, he claimed that worship has become expensive; if he were to invite Mercy Chinwo to minister as a guest musician, it would cost him an astronomical 10 million naira.
Furthermore, he stated that this is the tragedy that we have let Christianity to become because we think that an artist will perform at a church for 5–10 million Naira to lead in praise and worship for 10 minutes.
The church is coping the world, he continued, because worship has become entertainment and they were invited, therefore they must pay.
