Subsidy Removal: Some Nigerians seen powering their generators with cooking gas

Some residents have reportedly moved from using gasoline to power their generators to cooking gas as a result of the country’s recent increase in gasoline prices and elimination of fuel subsidies.

A store that used cooking gas to power its generator was captured on camera. They said that it was less expensive and lasted longer because 2 kg of gas lasted for 12 hours.
