She claimed to have met the woman at a club on one of her outings who promised to be her friend, so she got her contact information. She messaged her the next day and begged her to set her up with a guy because she wasn’t in a good financial situation.
She claimed that after her friend just returned from Mexico, they got to speak when he inquired about any ladies she could introduce him to. She then introduced him to the woman who had initially enquired about boys.
However, his friend who had just returned from Mexico had called her to ask for assistance and promised to return the money as soon as he had landed safely, which she did. He needed N50,000 to aid the lady she had connected him with. As soon as the money was confirmed, the woman called to ask for her home location, which she willingly provided.
As soon as she got to her residence, she protested that the amount of money was too little and she replied that that was the amount she was told to give it to her. She then excused herself and on coming back she was followed by police when they came to arrest her, saying she had her N400k.
When she arrived at the station, she was given the choice of being locked up in the police station or paying. She then made the decision to pay her N350 as well as N30K for bail.
