At least 16 people were k#lled and dozens others inj¥red following sh%%tings across the United State of America (USA) during the Memorial Day weekend.
It was gathered that the ages of the victims range from 2 to 77, and they were sh%t at different locations across at least eight states from Friday, May 26 to Monday, May 29, 2023.
The g¥n viol€nce occurred at beaches, high schools and motorcycle rallies, among other locations, NBC news reports.
At least nine people were k#lled and 47 others inj¥red in Chicago. The sh%%tings began when a man was sh%t in the 6300 block of West Montrose Avenue in the Portage Park neighborhood on Friday evening, CBS News reports.
A 2-year-old girl is inj¥red after she accidentlly sh%t herself in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood on Sunday evening. According to the Chicago Police Department, the girl found a handg¥n and accidentally discharged the w£apon, striking herself in the hand.
A 59-year-old man, 57-year-old woman, and a 77-year-old man were among the victims of the sh%%tings that occurred in the city.
According to NBC news, nine people were also inj¥red in a sh%%ting in the Hollywood Beach area of Hollywood, Florida, on Monday evening as people enjoying the holiday amassed along the Atlantic coast north of Miami, police said.
Police said an altercation between two groups led to the viol£nce, with all nine victims hospitalized in unknown condition and the possibility that children were among the inj¥red.
In Baltimore around 3:30 p.m. Friday, an argument between two men led to g¥nfire, which inj¥red five people, officials confirmed to NBC News.
In Mesa, Arizona, police took Iren Byers, 20, into custody in connection with multiple sh%%tings from Friday afternoon to early Saturday, police said in a news release. Byers is accused of k#lling four people and inj¥ring one person, police said…(continue reading from NEXT slide.
