Actress Venita Akpofure has cautioned fans to stop comparing her to those who don’t have kids or haven’t spent 5 yrs in the industry.

The actress asserted that because she has been in the business for more than 10 years and has no need to compete or face competition, people should stop making comparisons to her.

None of the people you compare to or with me have even experienced the whole cycle of femininity, she said. Stop comparing me to young ladies who are still without children or who haven’t even worked in my field for five years. It really annoys me. I’m a middle-aged mother of two, and several of your favorite actors on my show reel were still in high school.

She said, “Before fame turned into a sport for clout, when city people Newspaper was a thing, when people were still exchanging BlackBerry Pins, and when people were on Hi5.” That girl was me. I’m that woman now. and by doing what I love and living my dream, from it.
