In the reed sea, a couple’s wedding was celebrated with asoebi girls and other visitors.
A lady described how the wedding ceremony she attended on Saturday was nearly ruined by rain. She claimed that when the traditional wedding was taking place and she was present with the Asoebi girls, rain suddenly began to pour.
It poured so hard that the area was submerged under water. The couple were dejected when the celebration had to be stopped owing to the heavy rain, but she and other Asoebi ladies encouraged them by dancing, and the party went on as planned.
