Photos have emerged to prove actor Saint Obi’s colleagues were at his first child’s dedication ceremony in 2008, contrary to claims by filmmaker Zik Zulu Okafor, who alleged that the deceased actor never invited his colleagues to any of his three children’s dedication.
In an article released on Tuesday, May 16, Zik had alleged: “The Saint would be blessed with three beautiful children. But not on one occasion were his friends in Nollywood invited for christening or birthday.“
However, it was gathered that Obi and his millionaire wife, Lynda, tied the knot in 2006 and had their first child in November 2007, they held the child’s dedication in 2008 and some of his colleagues were in attendance.
The photos, which were sent to Instablog9ja by a family source, show veteran thespians Segun Arinze, Kate Henshaw and Stephanie Okereke, were in attendance at the ceremony which held at Obi’s apartment, “before they moved to Lynda’s house in Lekki, Lagos”.
