“We don’t give justice. The court does,” Lagos Police PRO tells Peter Psquare who pleaded on behalf of Seun Kuti.
In response to Peter Psquare’s request that the Nigerian Police temper justice with mercy on Seun Kuti’s behalf, the Lagos State Police PRO said that it is the job of the court to administer justice and that it is the role of the police to uphold the law and to arrest anyone who violates it.
He continued by saying that because the court was in charge of administering justice, he would want to refocus his plead there.
