Lamidi Apapa has said he is now in charge, as he ordered lawyers representing the party in the presidential election tribunal to meet him within 48hrs after a court confirmed him as acting chairman.

After being recognized by a court as the acting chairman, Lamidi Apapa, the Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), assumed control of the party’s operations.

In addition, he mandated that the party’s attorneys appear before him in person within 48 hours over the ongoing presidential election tribunal.
