A Canada-based Nigerian woman has revealed how her parents has contributed in making her brother lackadaisical and dependent on women to survive in life.
She claimed that she had just blocked her mother on WhatsApp because of her views on child rearing.
She claimed that her mother believes that modern men are not good at providing for their families, and that women are the ones who toil long and hard to earn their money. She claimed that women pick up a random man to live with them, make sure they have children, and then let him be. If the man makes a mistake, it is no longer her concern because she now has her own children, who are what really matters.
However, this has had an impact on his brothers in some way because they are unable to act independently without her help, which is the fault of her parents. Additionally, his brother’s life is going worse because he has quit school and his girlfriend has dumped him because of this carefree attitude.
Furthermore, she is under a lot of strain right now because her parents are appealing with her to find a way for her brother to stay in Canada because his visa is about to expire in the next two months.
