A 17-year-old boy and his friends has been arrested for planning his kidn@p to defra¥d his parents of N2m.
The suspect, Ade Segun, allegedly plotted his own kidnapping together with two of his friends, Precious and Nonso, contacted Ade’s parent, and demanded $2,000,000 in cash. The parent went to the Warri police station to report the incident, where a female police officer played along by claiming to pay the ransom.
However, when the undercover police officers arrived, they set up an ambush, and one of them, precious, went to collect the money. He was apprehended, taken to the hideout, where Ade and his other friend were detained, and he admitted that everything had been planned.
